 From the East
I am honored and pleased to serve as Worshipful Master for Moore Lodge #539. I want to thank my Masonic Brothers for their support and time. A special thanks to those who have instructed me during my time in the line.
I am proud to be a part of the World’s Greatest Fraternity. I have witnessed the effects we as Masons have on society. From some of the simplest acts of kindness we change lives around us. Our Forefathers of this country had a Great Insight and by their actions over 200 years ago, have affected our lives today. We watch through our media what is happening in other parts of the world. I cannot imagine what this world would be like if it were not for those brave men. It is indeed a Great Honor to be able to call them Our Brothers.
Our fraternity is growing. Many have shown their interest and we are attracting new and younger members. With recent movies and documentaries being released to the public, it is only natural. While this may arouse interest into the fraternity, it should be for many other reasons that a prospective member would want to join. If you know of someone interested in Freemasonry, please take the time to visit with them.
I extend a Oklahoma Welcome. Our doors are open to all Brothers. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7:30 P.M. or come by on Tuesday or Thursday mornings when we have instruction. We are proud of our lodge and believe it is the Number One lodge in Oklahoma. We take great pride in our ritualistic work. We also have breakfast on the 3rd Saturday from 7 to 9. Please come join us.
I was born October 18, 1961 at Tinker Air Force Base where my parents worked. I attended public schools in the Mid-Del area and graduated in 1979 from Del City High. I married my wife Sue in 1991 and we are currently enjoying being foster parents.
I joined Moore Lodge in July 2002. I was “Raised” in October 2002 and became proficient so I could be installed as Junior Steward that December. I have progressed through our line and enjoyed working every chair. My wife joined Moore O.E.S. #504 in June of 2002 and I followed in the spring of 2003. I served as Worthy Patron in 2006 during her term as Worthy Matron. I also am a 32O Scottish Rite at Guthrie and a member of India Shrine where I enjoy spending time with kids as a Clown.
One person can make a difference! I encourage you to get involved in Masonry and your community.
